    Ted Drewes is a STL Icon. Real Oreo Crumbles mixed in the Concrete. What a yummy frozen treat.

    This is the BEST frozen custard I've had. The lines might seem long pulling in but they have a bunch of different windows and they're super efficient and fast, and often the lines are just people waiting for their concrete rather than to order. The custard is SOOO soft, smooth, creamy, melty, and delicious. I got a small (which is still a significant amount!) vanilla custard with oreos, brownies, and hot fudge. Absolutely divine. The oreos and brownies get mixed in thoroughly and the hot fudge core adds a warmth and richness which is heavenly with the cold custard. Cannot reccommend enough.

    Tried this place on my trip to St.Louis. I ordered a vanilla cup. The custard was just delicious. It was so creamy, smooth and shiny. This place is packed with people so you would have to get in a queue and wait a little. There is plenty of parking nearby. Ambiance is decent. I would definitely recommend it! MUST TRY!!

    My aunt and uncle were visiting from PA and the ice cream/custard culture is strong there as well, so we knew we needed them to have Ted Drewes before they left. Despite the large throng of people outside, the line was quick to get through as there were so many windows to order from. There's a flavor for everyone (I've included photos of some of their specialty flavors). I also appreciate that you can get a sundae flavor in a baseball cap of your choosing so my family could take advantage to support the Pittsburgh Pirates. Ted Drewes also had a cute little gift shop and museum attached. Just know you can't enter with your custard. I'm not a huge fan of custard and this was not the best custard I've had (look to Wisconsin for that), but I do appreciate Ted Drewes for the St Louis and Route 66 landmark it is.
